Institutional activities

In order to define its sphere of action, FUNSALUD studied the state of the art in twelve areas of healthcare. In the light these investigations the institution decided to support development of the following lines: diabetes mellitus; gastric and enteric infections; genomic medicine; economics and healthcare; AIDS in Latin America and the Caribbean; education and health; and nutrition. FUNSALUD’s investigations produce socially relevant products and contribute, to an extent, to overcoming adverse health conditions.
