Presentation

One of the purposes of the Nestle Nutrition Fund (NNF) is to foster scientific research on nutrition. With that in mind, the NNF has created the Nestle Nutrition Conference, which aims at stimulating the critic discussion of actual topics related with nutrition problems in Mexico.

The format of the conference comprises a foreign lecturer, followed by a local (national) commentator, and a general discussion. The expositions, comments, and discussions are published in the international magazine Nutrition Reviews.

The Conference takes place on a biannual basis, lasts two days, and is organized in coordination with the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubiran (Salvador Zubiran National Institute of Medical Sciences and Nutrition)

Up to now, three Nestle Nutrition Conferences have been organized: the content of the first two has been published in Nutrition Reviews, and the third one is about to be published.
